In the 1960s, during the golden era of pop, one band rules supreme in East Anglia, and that was SOUNDS FORCE 5.
The band was officially crowned top 60s band, in one of the first ever Battle of The Bands, after being judged outright winners by VAN MORRISON.
SOUNDS FORCE 5 went onto to appear alongside all of the chart topping bands of the time, bands such as The Yardbirds, Amen Corner, the Merseybeats, the Small Faces and Status Quo (to name but a few)
Pirate Radio station “Radio London” chose the band to front their Radio Roadshow, long before Radio One or Two had been thought of.
The piancle of the band’s career came when they were booked to appear alongside JIMI HENDRIX, CREAM and PINK FLOYD in what was undoubtedly the UK’s first every real music festival.
And now SOUNDS FORCE 5 are back, playing that unique brand of 60’s music, that made them so popular the first time around. Lose yourself in this golden era, when you hear the group play unforgettable numbers made famous by such bands as The Rolling Stones, The Searchers, The Moody Blues and The Spencer Davies Group.
This really is authentic foot
stomping 60s music at its best
